LUNA® CideZPT-48F
The main active ingredient of LUNA®Cide ZPT-48F is Zinc pyrithione which is broad-spectrum antimicrobials, unlike other antimicrobial substances such as silver and copper. This means it is effective against bacteria and the growth of fungi, including mold, mildew and algae. In daily chemical field Zinc pyrithione is commonly used today as a main ingredient in anti-dandruff shampoos and over-the counter treatments for skin conditions with the properties of antifungal and antibacterial. After formulation optimization LUNA®Cide ZPT-48F can be integrated into textile during manufacture to deliver ongoing product protection against degrading microbial growth. The lab testing and application experience prove that LUNA®Cide ZPT-48F effectively inhibits bacterial growth on polyester fabrics and cotton cloth by up to 99.9% and prevents mold growth for up to 20 home launderings.
