LUNA®PO-100 and LUNA®PO-40

It is suitable for clear anti-dandruff shampoos, because Piroctone Olamine is soluble in aqueous surfactant solutions and alcohol-water solutions. The main advantage of Piroctone Olamine is its low toxicity, practically non-toxic. And it is not halogenated and does not release formaldehyde. EEC Cosmetic Directive authorize the application of Piroctone Olamine as a preservative with a maximum concentration of 1% for products rinsed off and 0.5% for other products
